- The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing has announced that China will be suspending all imports from Australia and New Zealand immediately. This suspension includes dairy, beef, agriculture products and wines.

- According to Paytronix’s Mid-Year Gift Card Report, the total number of restaurant gift cards sold in 2021 increased by 22% year-over-year. The sales in the first half of 2022 are 2% behind that – this year is already off to a strong start. With major holidays approaching such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day we can expect sales to increase.

- With schools across the United States welcoming back students very soon, the pressure is on for schools to find solutions to lower breakfast and lunch costs. The cost for school lunch may be as high as $5 a day – which is nearly twice as much as the cost in 2017. This rise in cost is due to supply chain disruptions and the war in Ukraine.
