In a recent research done by Acosta, a global integrated sales and marketing service provider, shares that while 54% of consumers are dining out less often because of inflation in food prices, one-third of consumers are deciding to opt for less expensive restaurants so they can still enjoy dining out at a similar price of what they would normally spend. 
  1. Wheat, Palm oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, beef, sugar, and maize are some of the main ingredients being impacted by the recent food export bans due to poor harvests, heatwaves, supply-chain bottlenecks, and from the war in Ukraine. Joseph Glauber, a researcher at the International Food Policy Research Institute shared with Insider that he doesn’t believe food prices will go down anytime soon.
