- Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, Red Robin has scaled-down the size of their menu. A major upside to scaling-down their menu is they are now offering LTOs to customers and they are receiving a lot of attention for good reason. The LTOs they are rolling out always include a burger, an appetizer, nonalcoholic beverage and alcoholic beverage and a shake which customers have been really enjoying. Red Robin has seen their same-store sales increase by 3.9% in Q1 compared to 2019.

- Chick-fil-A is rolling out a test of self-driving robots to deliver meals in two of their downtown Austin, Texas locations. The main driver for this test was to be creative in times where they are struggling with labor shortages and pressures. The 80-pound robot is able to deliver food orders in all weather conditions and completes last-mile deliveries with a 90% lower carbon emissions and 80% less energy consumption.
