CEO Chris Kempczinski said it was the “most successful food promotion ever”. To continue the momentum, the chain decided to bring it to the United States and pilot the Chicken Big Mac in Miami this month.

In fact, according to research by Datassential, compared to 18% in 2017, 27% of consumers overall said they would pay more for sustainable food products. Among younger consumers, 34% of Gen Z and 39% of Millennials said they’d pay more for sustainability. - We are entering peak season for ocean freight and DHL Global Forwarding has some thoughts surrounding peak season, according to a recent interview with CNBC. Goetz Alebrand, Ocean Freight Head for the Americas region of DHL Global Forwarding, shared that “We are not yet really out of the woods when it comes to congestion”. He adds further that “The supply chains that are ocean based around the world, are very, very vulnerable to these interruptions or disruptions so it’s really difficult to say right now how these disruptions will impact overall volumes”.
